Are IDNs good for search engine ranking and SEO?
Would they be a Web Developers dream?
Besides the fact that great generic terms can still be purchased for more than reasonable prices, the answer would have to be YES!

.hk ready to launch .香港 IDN Equivalent
Just received this email, from hkdnr:
They will be adding the .香港 transliteration to the IDN .hk domains.

Dear customer,
We are pleased to inform you that our website www.hkdnr.hk will have a fresh new look from 12 Feb 2011 onwards. We hope you will like it.
We shall send invitation to eligible .hk customers to register .香港 domain name for free during the period from 22 Feb to 10 Mar. Please click here for details.
In preparation for the launch of .香港 and Registry/Registrar model, our Registration Agreement and the relevant policies will be updated. The new version (Version 5.0) will be effective on 22 Feb 2011. It is now posted here.
